When we die I've heard our finger nails and toe nails carry on growning. Is this true?

No. What happens is that your skin shrinks, so your finger nails and toes nails appear to grow but they really aren't.When we die I've heard our finger nails and toe nails carry on growning. Is this true?
true so does your hair but not for longWhen we die I've heard our finger nails and toe nails carry on growning. Is this true?
yep, so make sure you've just had a manicure
no, the skin shinks and thus the finger nail hidden uner it is reveiled and so looks longer
Yup thats true our hair also grow a little!!..isnt that eerie?
I have heard that as well but I do not think that it is true. I mean when was the last time that they exhumed someone who had a head full of hair and nails that ran the length of their leg.
No they don't.

As the moisture from the body disperses the skin shrinks back revealing more hair and nail than previously seen.
no, the cuticles retract as the skin dehydrates, so the nail bed is exposed
i am a nurse in a hospital and yes it is true so does your hair
yeah gruesome huh
l've herd that too!

They only grow an inch after we die, or so l herd!
sorry I haven't died yet so it is a bit hard to answer that one, why don't you dig one up and measure there nails and then you can answer your own question.
No it isn't true, It's just the skin shrinks making it appear as though they have grown.
yes
its not true, your skin shrinks so it looks like they are longer but they don't grow at all
Yes, so does your hair.Different parts of the body die at different, when you die, the body doesn't die as a whole, sure, your heart stops, your brain dies but body cells take time to die.
