tell me how to make them grow normally, they curl in and have a thick ridge up the middle on both of my big toes.I have terrible painfull toe nails on my big toe, can anybody recommend a good softerning agent or............?
I know a few people who had really terrible ingrown toenails and eventually had to have them removed by the doctor from the nail bed. I'm having a hard time visualizing exactly what your nails are doing but if regular upkeep won't help perhaps you should consult a podiatrist.

How should i paint my toe nails
So I want to paint my toenails..Any help ?? I have bright nail polishes...I usually paint the tips colorful..but i want a new look. Any help will do ? Also , I usually design it with a tooth pick...any help will do..How should i paint my toe nails
Bright yellow, bright fuchsia or bright luminous orange.
I think these are the best colours for the toe nails especially in summer time

IT could be that she isn't eating enough Vitamin B. However, I'm sure this isn't a bad thing. I would LOVE to never have to cut my nails again :D

She may have a health problem. Or it could be low calcium. She may need to eat and drink more dairy. If she is feeling healthy I would not worry about it. If she is sickly have her checked out by a doctor. Also some people just don't have good nail growth. Especially if she works with her hands a lot.

I don't know. It's pretty freaky looking. Especially the french pedicure (or whatever it's called). I think your nail has to be pretty long in order to have room for the white stripe. I worked with a girl a while back that got a french pedi acrylic done and the toenails were so long that she said she was poking holes through her socks, and it hurt too much to wear closed-toe shoes because her freakin' toenails were hitting into the tips of her shoes. They looked retarded.

What is it when your dog bites its toe nails?
it depends on how often/much your dog does this. if it's just part of their daily routine, like a few minutes at a time once or twice a day, or just after a walk, that's probably just grooming, and it's fine and healthy.
If they are really going to town, nibbling like crazy, it could be a couple things. Your dog could be bored. He may need more exercise or mental stimulation. This behavior can become obsessive and unhealthy, so if it's really excessive consider more playtime.
Your dog could have a hot spot. this is a round spot that will not have fur on it. It will probably be red or pink. Mine had one between his toes and was really fretting over it. They can become infected, so it's important to distract them from the spot until it has a chance to heal. you can redirect their attention to play, put Bitter Yuk or another bad-tasting product on it, just saying a firm ';No!'; sometimes works, or you may need an e-collar.
And of course he could have fleas.

She'll stick her back foot in her mouth and you can hear her chewing her nails. She is defiitely not licking her feet or inbetween the toes, she just seems to skim the tops off carefully.

They're trimming or sharpening them. It's probably instinct.
It is their instinct, a part of the grooming process.
