I have a large gash on my toe from tripping on a sidewalk. It sut some of my nail also.?

I went to DR. and she gave me a tetnus shot and antibotics.


Now it has a pus like thing on my nail.


I am so scared my skin is going to grow onto my nail.


Is this a normal healing process?





And Can I soak my toe in water and epsom salt with an open wound?

You can soak an open wound in water and epsom salt


Then put some antibiotic cream on it


Then put a bandage on it


You should do this at least everyday or every couple of days so it doesn't get infected
